Read the board, then confirm

Battles reward prediction more than speed. Both sides choose their actions, then the game resolves that shared turn deterministically.

A turn has two moments

First, both players choose actions without seeing the other side's final choice. Then those choices resolve through the battle rules. Winning consistently means planning for the action you expect, not only the position you can see.

Key points

  • Check range, area shape, movement paths, and existing battlefield objects.
  • Ask where an opponent wants to end the turn, not just where it starts.
  • Coordinate your trio so one Vera's setup gives another Vera a useful finish.

Know the action set

A Vera can move, skip, use an ability from its battle loadout, use a healing potion on a Vera, use a charge potion on a Vera, or use a taming amulet when the battle allows it. Not every legal action is a good action; preserving position or charge can be the stronger turn.

Plan beyond the current turn

Space and safe options change as a fight develops. An early positional advantage can become a later resource, so judge each action by the board it leaves behind.
