Grow a Vera with intent

A Vera's level cap depends on that Vera, and some cap earlier than others. All four species abilities and the rune ability are available from the start, while levels and six stats shape how it performs in battle.

Six stats, six levers

Leveling decisions are easiest when they reinforce a Vera's actual job. Do not spread investment by habit; read its ability damage type and team role first.

STR
Strength controls physical attack and is central to defense against physical damage.
DEX
Dexterity controls critical chance and critical power.
VIT
Vitality controls the health pool.
INT
Intellect controls magical attack and is central to defense against magical damage.
WIS
Wisdom controls the charge pool and charge regeneration.
CHA
Charisma controls primal attack and is central to defense against primal damage.

Choose the battle loadout

All four species abilities and the rune ability are available from the start. Before battle, choose abilities in the Combat Arsenal; only that battle loadout appears on the action panel. Check the Vera directory for each kit and the runes reference for the elemental ability a rune adds.

Levels strengthen the Vera, not the ability list

Leveling supports long-term growth and stat allocation; it does not currently gate the listed ability kit. Build around the abilities shown, use progression to reinforce the Vera's role, and check its live details for the applicable level cap.

Floki stands on the victory screen while the Vera Rewards panel announces a level-up and one skill point.
The Vera Rewards panel confirms when battle experience produces a level and a new skill point.Captured in Valhalla 1.12.2
